On the 28th of September, the Security Council will have a closed meeting on yesterday’s incident in Kosovo. The Council already had two closed meetings on 15th September (S/PV.6616 and S/PV.6617), following a letter sent by Serbia regarding the customs and border police control of the boundary between north Kosovo and Serbia (S/2011/574),

Security Council Holds Debate on Kosovo (30 August) *UPDATE*

In the light of recent border tensions in Kosovo, the UN Security Council was scheduled to host a debate on Monday (29 August). Due to inclement weather in New York, the meeting has been postponed until Tuesday (30 August) The foreign ministers of both Serbia and Kosovo are expected to participate.
