Security Council - Sudan and South Sudan
The Security Council is currently in consultation (10am), discussing the situation in Sudan/South Sudan and the Secretary General’s latest report (S/2012/890) on the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA). The Assistant Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations, Edmond Mulet, is scheduled to brief the Security Council on the current situation on both of these issues.
